i'm mildly concussed

i have this thing were i like to curse myself. i don't mean i call myself a bitch and tell me to go to hell. it's more like, when someone says "be careful" when i'm leaving to go ski, i chuckle in my head and think "what? i'm skiing, big deal." and then when i take a huge digger on the first run of the night (which happens to be a green run) and smash my head while summersaulting off my skis and sliding across the ice with my jacket yanked up that i think really should be more careful.

so not even kidding

i think i'm 45. seriously. don't listen to my mother when she tells you i was born in '84. i must be 45. why else would i be totally wrapped up in a 8-5 job, my own office, 401k and all the freaking drama of a soap opera?

i think the weekend got here just in time. i think i have combat fatigue.

IT'S SNOWING

wet wet wet wet wet wet snow.
slushy puddles of snow.
windy cold flecks of snow.
water water everywhere, in the form of snow.

i'm going skiing on saturday.

i just wish david could be there too.

last night was a really good night. there was smoke and a notebook. what else (besides water) does one need? but it wasn't just any notebook. it was the notebook i had given david however many years ago. how i've missed it! with it's cute little animals getting stabbed in the eye on the cover. every time i get to write in that book, it truely is an honor.

two things really

1) the best halloween costume winner this year is hurricane evacuees. clothes from goodwill, shirt with fake blood, mis-matched sandles, madi gras beads, cardboard sign with sad message and windblown hair. jammin and i were half afraid of getting our asses kicked, but it went over really well.

2) i am so fuckin annoyed with the stupid gossip column pretending to be so annoyed with combined names (ie bennifer, vaghniston, tomkat) and yet they still use them and continue to make up new ones. how fucking pretentious.
